X5Boston is on a distinguished road
Keep, Cancel, or Flip?

Ordered my E70 in late October 06 with delivery scheduled for early to mid January 07. Well, its early March and still no X5. My vehicle completed production on Feb 17 and has been "waiting to be released to the carrier" since that day.

In the meantime, I got a job that is a 5 minute walk away from home. To be honest, do I really need a large depreciating asset sitting in an underground parking space 20+ days a month? My current 02 E53 4.6is has been great. At 75,000 miles, my extended warranty is good until either October 08 or 100K miles.

Right now I am pretty disappointed with BMW for the delays. In fact, I gave my dealer more info found on X5World that they got from the factory. News of the rear sunshade issue was caught them off guard along with the halt in orders for tobacco leather.

Right now I am debating whether to stay the course and take delivery of the E70, cancel the order outright, or look at getting someone to take over the order.
