once the car leaves the SC plant, bmw NA customer service can no longer track your order - you must ask your sales advisor at your dealership. if your car is indeed still "waiting to be released to carrier", it will still be a couple days until it gets RAILED over to oxnard vpc in CA. after spending a couple days there, it will be TRUCKED to your dealer.

hope this helps

The person I spoke to said it may take up to 2 weeks after production is complete before the vehicle leaves South Carolina so your car should be on its way by now (via train, then truck as rukawa said)

rukawa005 and caix5fan, thanks for the information. The waiting is brutal. Hang in there and keep us posted.

Order update... I ordered Monday Feb 12 and according to BMW USA, production is complete as of today and waiting to be placed on a carrier . We'll see how long it take to get to the L.A. area.

I ordered mine Feb 12, it was status 111, the sales person found two cars that day that match my order, i did not ask for a production numbers in order not to suffer waiting from completion to shipping.
