I didn't see this option when I ordered my 3.0 with premium/sports package either.

I think one of the packages doesn't allow aluminum (maybe the premium package).

Probably. It is available on some US 3.0's, probably the premium package that eliminates it. I hate the way BMW and Audi usually eliminate the aluminum on the bigger engine models, sometimes it's a cooler look when you're going for sport more than luxury. I know wood has more of a "premium" look, but when you're getting the bigger engine it's for sport, not luxury....

I'm from Portugal and I ordered a 4.8 with aluminum. There are no restrictions.
I like the aluminum for a more sporty look

i know a near mint set was on ebay a week or two ago.. it's been rare but i'm sure more and more will show up soon.. as for the fit, i wouldn't know.. but i don't see why not.. someone care to comment?

Did the dealer do your front window tint??? if so how much
My x5 shiped from SC.on Thurday, hope to have by Good Friday

i believe for the front 2 windows it'd be 75 (madico medium).. but i got the dealer to throw that in
