That's great! Congratulations! (A new thread with photos is in order...)

Do you have navigation? There was a repeated claim a few months ago that the HD Radio option disabled the RTTI function, but I couldn't find anything about it in the current brochure, nor on the BMW website. If possible, could you confirm that the RTTI system is working on your X5? Thanks.

Yes, I do have navigation but don't know what RTTI is. Please explain. By the way, navigation is awesome. I have version 25.5 software which is supposed to be the latest.

how do you know its 25.5?

RTTI is traffic info. It will show if there are accidents on your route.
You will see a TI+ at the bottom of your screen if you are in a city that offers data. What city do you live in?

RTTI stands for "Real Time Traffic Information" and you can read about it on the BMW USA site as well as plenty of other places online. The BMW CCA has a bit more information in their story.

Depending on where you're located, there may not be any coverage. Another poster mentioned a way to tell if you're getting traffic info, I'll look for that.

Version 25.5? That's newer than anything I've heard of yet. How did you know the version number?

Rtti

I was told by my dealer that the software is version 25.5. They told me also that they have not received this version from BMW as yet.

RTTI: yes, I do have traffic info and it seems to work. However, I have no comparison because I never had it before.
