The M-style 227M rim looks like the regular style 239 rim, don't you think so?

So the 20" Y spoke is not available on the M Sport? That's surprising.

New M Sport X pics Released today

Morning.

Just traded my M6 for a 3.0d x5 (2006 old shape).

I had ordered a new 3.0d se for july delivery until I read all of the very helpful posts on this site....It sent me on a quest to harrass the dealer into selling me my required vehicle....

I have now been added to second place on the waiting list for the new 3.0d twin turbo (due November / December) in M Sport guise (due Between November and January. Although an earlier post states the 3.0sd is due in January on the BMW pdf, Synter High Whycombe BMW has said it will be more like November to december for M Sport desiel in either guise 3.0d or twin turbo 3.0d

Ive attached the pics he sent me today and hope theyll be useful...

Regards

Jess Harfield

M Sport Twin Turbo Confirmed December 2007

Hi

Yes. The M sport twin turbo doesnt have a part number currently but is expected by december. Although it may role into January 08. Theyve taken the deposit from me for it and have confirmed that as soon as its got a part code then I can spec it.>!

He also said that the Auto tailgate would be avaible by then and that BMW individual will be available from October in the UK on the new X5. He said it would be priced simalar to that thats already available in germany. Which is 5000 Euro for full leather upgrade or 3000 Euro for the part leather upgrade.

The plan is to go carbon black with platinum merino individual leather.

Also for those that are interested the other option which wil be avaible on both the Msport and the SE is the upgrade from glovebox CD to DVD with multichannel dolby digital sound. Its a £600 upgrade on the Msport - already avaible in switzerland. And the rear side blinds will be avaible by October.

Im hoping that by December/January Active Cruise and Night vision will be available too.......

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics. Glad I ordered mine in the Space Grey, roll on September!!.

Not sure on those wheels though but it is a photoshop job so its diffficult to tell same as the trim and rails. R/B's also difficult to assess but looks just the same as the X3 sport, I guess there is a metal strip running across the top, I cant tell.

I just looked on the Swiss Website but they are not saying anything about this DVD option you mentioned. What is it exactly did your dealer say?

Also with the photo release your dealer would have some printed info on further spec etc, did you see that or have a copy?
