I had this problem with mine last year. I wrapped the U-shaped latches for the lower tailgate in about 3 layers of electrical tape. I've had no noise since then. Open the lower tailgate and you will see these metal U-shaped latches, one on each side of the car. I had to cut the tape to be the correct size and there are 3 wraps needed per latch, to wrap all 3 sides of the U.

Osram CBI HID replacement bulbs

Diode Dynamics XML2 H11 5000k LED fog light bulbs w/DD anti flicker module

wrapped front lower cover/arrow looking thing/whatever you call it 3M satin black

black vinyl BMW badge decal all around
