4.8 Underpowered compare to 4.4

the reason that it doesnt feel faster than the old 4.4 is because of its size!
bigger car= more comfort! that is all!
i used to have a mini cooper S and i thought it was a rocket, but not really, it just seemed like it because of its size

4.4i 2000-2001 had 282 bhp
4.4i 2002-2003 had 290 bhp
4.4i 2004-2006 had 315 bhp

The pre facelift x5 should will beat the facelift models off the line because they don't have valvetronic and the 6 speed tranny slowing them down. The facelift models get a lot better millage.

i own an e70 4.8 and drove a 4.4 and i thought the 4.8 felt much more powerful, esp off the line
