OK guys, can anybody tell me where to hide a spare key?

Honestly in 30 years of driving I have only needed a hidden key once....what are the chances of loosing your key AND your battery is dead?

I agree but it would come in handy in a malfunction such as the thread that inspired this thread started by jg0519 (the lady who had her daughter locked in the car and BMW assist couldn't open it)

malfunction or operator error?

I dont make it a habbit of "throwing" my key inside the car then closing the doors.

yes I understand your point, but the tradeoff is leaving a key outside that someone could find vs dealing with a once in a ? situation. But honestly if you read that entire thread, was it really a malfunction?
