Question monaco blue/tobacco vs. space grey/black

i am having a hard time deciding what exterior and interior colour i should choose. i seem to like one combination, then when i see something else i then change my mind.

i was thinking about: space grey with black interior. or monaco blue with tobacco interior.

i have searched the forum and found a few pics but i need some more to decide.

could you guys help me out by taking some more photos and posting them here?

btw, what would you choose had these been the only 2 options?

any help appreciated in advance. thanks !

I would choose the Monaco Blue w/Tobacco. It's a combo that's more likely to stand out in a sea of grays and blacks. Gives it kinda an "exotic" flavor.

i agree with both of you guys on this. i'm not too sure about the swirl marks. sure it will be less visible on space grey, though i'm sure my driver will be careful.

could you guys post some pics please? thanks!

Don't worry about the driver. Worry about the guy cleaning your car. You get the swirl marks from cleaning the car.

I was also originally leaning towards Monaco Blue, but having had a Carbon Black (which also has a dark blue tinge to it) car, I gave up on it because of the thought of maintaining it. Swirl marks show up really easily ... infact a Monaco Blue demo X5 that I saw in the showroom back in January already had visible swirl marks on it.

What did I end up with ?!?! ... Space Grey and black.

I would strongly recommend looking at any color you're considering in person as many times as it takes to decide, including the whole combination (might be hard with the tobacco..). I originally considered the monaco blue but didn't like the way it looked against the black plastic trim/bumpers once I saw it in person. So, I went with the Black Sapphire and I'm glad I did. But it's 100% personal preference, so to me, the most important thing is to see it in person and not rely on pictures, they're never a true reflection of color/contrast. Close sometimes, but not enough, IMO.
