Took Delivery Today at Performance Center

Took Delivery of my White/Ebony interior 4.8 today in Spartanburg with premium/sport/comfort seats. Incredible experience, I highly recommend this option. BMW does this right. We were told we were on the last factory tour for the next 1 year, people visiting in the future will spend more time on the track instead of the tour which may not be a bad thing.

The driving experience was great, the off road course was pretty weak, but the breaking/track/slalom were great.

The production line was going strong, it was a black and grey day (they paint the bodies in block) as I saw many black and space grey X5 on the line today. They had some areas blocked off/off limits as production was starting on the e71 (X6).

Everything from the airport pickup in a 5 wagon to the factory tour was handled with class. I had an '02 3.0 prior which had its share of gremlins, I am hoping this will not be the case with the new e70.
