i saw the same thread in a mini forum ...
i think this is a great topic...

anyway there are alot of things i like about the e70 ..
the way it looks from behind especialy at night with the leds

the looks people give me when im driving this car ... ( you feel like you are the king of the road ) everyone stares at this car..

how small it looks when its actually very large...

the rear seat comfort is outstanding

cell phone holder

i drive ( really cant live without it )

best interior i ever saw in an suv

how light it feels when you open the door and the sound it makes

the shifter became one of the best things in the car .. i really didnt expect
it to be that great , the first day i thought it was weird but the next i loved it , you switch drive to reverse with just your fingers...

and i like the leather behind the gear shifter

air condition has alot of good settings

the big side mirrors
pano roof

simply the best suv out there!

Just becuase one person here reports on an unfortunate comfort access issue, it does not mean it is on all X5's!!!! Same with transmission issues, I Drive issues!!! A lot of people join becuase they are one of the few that are having problems, creating an enviroment that is full of titles like "E70 4.8i Problems" Sure, it is something that you should look out for, but it is definately not a reason for not purchasing a vehicle.

I think the people who truly sensationalize the random issues do not even own an E70 which I find interesting. I guess mostly hearsay from other people. Anyway i like:

LEDs in all four door handles
and the clamp shell glove compartment.

I just don't understand why they did not make the glove box lockable, having to go to the back of the X5 and lift up the back panel to lock something away is silly. What happens at sevice time, you cannot lock the back area because they may need to service that area and I bet they have key for it anyway.

I believe when the car locks, the glove box does too.

I know you were kidding... but I think you can tell if the glove box locks by locking the car and then unlocking using the valet key (meaning glove box would stay locked when using valet key to unlock the car), right? Or would using the unlock button inside the car unlock the glovebox (thus making it pointless to use a valet key..........., which I vaguely recall my salesman telling me).

It was a bad joke...but seriously what exactly is the valet key? Are you refering to the plastic spare key? or the metal key hidden in the remote?

In either case how do they do you any good?
