X5FX...Yeah, I shoulda added that comment; my point was that many
of us had niggling glitches, (some serious glitches), and most Stlrs were
way behind on the learning curve in '01,'02 etc. I suspect they are
in a similar boat with the newer E70s.

Couple that with your basic BeamER stlr being up to his azz in new and
extremely complex models, some of which are not "Japanese quality" in
terms of build, electronics, etc., and most stlrs are simply trying to get
that "serviced car" out the freakin door.

The "dlr experience" here on this board ranges from Outstanding in a few
cases to It Sucks at the other end of spectrum, with layers in the middle
of the bell curve. Your experience is, imo, not fun but not out of the
ordinary in terms of "everything is connected" and any screw up or shoddy
tech work leads to a host of other problems.
