I don't know if I'm the only one, but I LOVE my sport seats in my E70. I've had the comfort seats in my 745Li and I didn't really care for them. In fact, in my 7, I found them to be one of the most uncomfortable seats, so I didn't bother with the e70 and I'm glad I got the sports.

I'm 6'1 200 lbs and I find the seats to fit me like a glove. I also have a history of lower back pain and I have to say, out of all my recent cars, S550, E55, I find the X5 seats to be as comfortable, if not better than these cars.

Ive just tried a small pillow dirving around were the lumbar goes and the sports seats dont seem so bad....not perfect, but not so bad.

I think the moral of the story is make sure youve got lumbar support with the sports seats...otherwise they leave a gap at the bottem of your back....

I agree...if you are getting the sports, make sure it has the lumbar support. It really helps in shaping the seat to your back.

I'm surprised BMW doesn't offer some sort of manual adjustment for those without the power lumbar option.

Mmmmm.. might have to try and put some extra padding into the seat backrest .. looks easy to do based on the BMW TIS... or else retrofit the lumbar as I didn't order the Lumbar on my sports seats that also looks ok so long as the wiring is there !!!... I'll see what they are like when the car arrives...I couldn't get comfort seats so the dealer will hear from me if the seats are too uncomfortable !!!
