Well, actually the italian market is very dynamic and, after Germany, the most important in terms of number of sold cars. You are right, about 50% of the market is represented by the so called "citycars" and smaller touring cars (two doors). Actually the SUV rapresent only about 7.5% of the market, but including smaller ones like Toyota RAV 4 or X3. The rest is for station wagon and VAN (25%) and middle/large sedan cars.

I suppose your X5 is considered a small size car in USA...here is like to have a sort of truck!
