i am installing tips and my have them welded but i don't want the dealer to telling me he can no longer provide warranty service on it..(regardless of what the issue is)

just want to make sure..

That's ridiculous! How can installing end pipes affect the warranty on the muffler ? It is just a tube you are installing !

+1. Your SA is telling you BS. I had Hartge exhaust tips installed on my 6 series, I had AC Schnitzer exhaust tips installed on my 7 series. Hell, I have an Eisenmann Sport exhaust installed on my M6 and never did my SA tell me warranty would be void.

He may be talking differently if he would be selling the Hartge exhaust tips. If you like them just go get them. They look great.

HAMANN REAR SPORT MUFFLER

Have any of you guys seen these tailpipes. Look very similar to the ones on the 4.8i.

I think they look better than the tailpipes offered by Hartge
