They do but BMW does not sell just the tips by themselves, you must buy the whole exhaust, however, the Hartge are the ones to get for either the 3.0i or the 3.0D

The factory tips on the 3.0si are stainless steel (as opposed to chrome). They don't have as thick a 'lip' as the chrome ones. . .which I might add are an excellent find.

I had a look at the Hartge site and am I correct in that the tips would actually need to be welded and not just attached over the stock pipes?

so who do i get to install this weld these exhaust tips from hartge? muffler shop?

yes, as simple as is, everything we get from ACS, Hamman, Hartge, Supersprint as far as mufflers is weld in, only ACS tips are bolt on.
