You could be right, when my MCS landed, I was amazed how quickly they got the car to my dealer and it was the same way with our X5. By the way, You Gona Love this Car................ what pkgs or accessories did you order?

Titanium Silver with gray interior, premium package, comfort seats, heated seats, nav, rear sunshades, and iPod/USB connection. I/we opted for the 3.0 version after driving to verify it had "enough" power so as to keep the price down and the gas mileage up....
I had wanted to get Space Gray with (the beautiful) Tobacco interior, but my wife hated that interior color and her instincts on color are usually pretty good. I've got a feeling this is a male/female reaction difference!
In any case I also like the silver/gray combo....
We passed on several features that could have been nice to have but not essential, i.e., premium sound, rear climate package, and possibly the rest of the tech package.
Anyway, I'm ready to enjoy it!

My production was finally complete August 2nd (it started on July 25th) and the recording still says, "waiting to be released to carrier." I assume its going to take another 10 days or so until I get call from the SA (I live in Louisiana). I too am very anxious to drive my new X. I ordered a 3.0si - Space Grey/Tobacco - Sport Pack, Prem. Pack, Tech. Pack, Rear Clim. Pack, Comfort Access, Heated Front Seats, Running Boards! These last few days have been excruciating!!

What recorded message are you talking about? Can I have the phone number? I'm also waiting for mine. My car is "en route".

Thanks

My X5 3.0 is scheduled for production week 36 which is first week of Sept. I drove my first 07 X5 3.0 for three weeks and just over 500 miles before it was totaled last Monday. I called my salesman as I was walking out of the ER to place my order. I did not even have a chance to kick the accelerator down on it. My wait is killing me AGAIN!
