Comfort Access yes or no?
On another note, my car has been delayed for 8 weeks because of the 20 inch rims, this seems like a little long for the delay. I was out of town for a long period of time, but placed my order prior to going out of town. I suspect that my dealer may have sold "my" order slot to someone else, and then placed me in another month's slot thinking I would not notice. Is there a way to find out the date the car was ordered from the dealership? Thanks, Robert |

Not worth $1000.

It should be free. Even the Nissan Altima has it at no charge. It's under $20K. A lot of Toyota's have it as well. I have it on My Lexus LS 460 and it didn't cost anything... Most Lexus vehicles have it standard...

I agree that its not worth $1k, but since I have it, I can't see being without it. Its a very convenient option and just like NAV, power windows, and other things, you won't know how much you like it/use it until you have it.
As long as you can get a good deal on your X, I say get it.

It should be standard. I did not order the option for the same reason as lemans, not worth $1000. I can still get in and out of the car by pressing one button and start the car by pressing another button. For the extra $1000 dollars, I wish they made the factory Rear Entertainment System screen on the headrests not on the armrest. I don't see the logic of the design. Most people who will opt for the RES will probably have little kids, like me and most likely will also opt for the 3rd row seat. You cannot see anything from the 3rd row seat when your RES monitor is in the arm rest. Go figure.

LeMans maybe correct that it is worth the 1000 price tag, but it sure is a nice feature to have. When my hands are full of papers or groceries, it sure is nice to just walk up and pull the door handle or trunk lid, rather than fumble my briefcase or pocket for the keys.
At this price tag, BMW should make it standard as Nissan and Infiniti do on all their models. Even the base Versa... |

I bought my X5 off the lot so took CA. Glad it had it. Nice to just keep my keys in my laptop case and open and start the SAV. Do I have to have it no. On the other hand since I have it I use it every day. The push button start makes more sense to me this way also.
