Thanks for all the input, everyone. I am going to go look at the two of them again and try to get myself to a decision. I wish it was easier! However if this is the largest thing that is bugging me, I guess I'm pretty lucky.
I do like the sporting nature of the BMW and I don't care for the 3rd row which I don't need or really want anyway.
There is just something so perminent and sturdy feeling about the LR3.
The fuell economy is definitely a drawback for the LR3.
Hopefully by early next week I will have decided.
