First Scratch
I’ve only had my X5 for 3 weeks and while washing the car on the weekend I notice that there was a small scratch on the passenger door. Does anyone know what product I can use to cover up this scratch? I was thinking about the product from Nu Finish? Thanks in advance. QJody |

![]() For deep scratches and chips you can use Lanka. The nufinish does not do anything to cover up scratches just hides them very, very slightly. If it is a light scratch some buffing with a machine and proper compound will help deminsh it.

Here's an article from my favorite car detailing website, autopia.org:
http://autopia.org/forum/guide-detai...nt-clinic.html This is a soup to nuts discussion on paint issues and corresponding fixes from scratches to oxidation to paint burn to bird crap. Good stuff... |
