But I don't understand why dealership keeps telling people that they cannot repair RTF when people here in the forum were able to have their RTF repaired? Is this their way of making money or repaired RTF poses risk?
Update!!! My SA told me that my tire insurance will fully cover the tire replacement and mounting charges so I do not have to shell out anything. On a side note, I called a local STS tire here in NJ and was told that they can fix the Bridgestone RFT as long as the puncture is on the grove and not on the sidewall. Repair charge = $35. So I told my SA that I am keeping the old tire and will bring it to STS for repair. I will use it as a backup/reserve.
