Moonroof on x5

Does anyone know if there is a standard moonroof on the x5 (3.0), w/o the need to add any option. Or do you have to order the panaramic moonrof to get a moonroof.

Thanks.

I just had a look at the X5 brochure and it seems that there is only a panoramic moonroof. It is either a stand alone option or part of the premium package.

I understand that it is part of premium pkg or as standalone 'panaramic moonroof'

What i am wondering is if you opt out for for either option, is there a 'standard' moonroof (not the panaramic one).

Thanks,

What I was trying to get at is that the brochure only lists the pano.

In North America, the only 'roof' options for the E70 are:

a] Panaromic Sunroof (standalone option (3.0si), bundled in the premium package (3.0si) or standard (in the 4.8i))
b] No Sunroof

once you see the pano, the "normal" sunroof is pretty much a joke.

I was in a car that had a "normal" sunroof, and it was so weird!

+1. It's okay for normal salo-- i mean sedans and coupes to have a normal moonroof. But in SUVs, minivans, and sports wagons, I kind of expect the larger roof now.

Man we're so easily spoiled thesedays. I remember the days when I was a kid, and the only "entertainment" in the backseat was the scenery via the crank window! And for some reason we expect sat nav to be standard on our luxury automobiles today.

In the U.S. the pano roof is either a standalone option, or included with the premium package. It does not come standard on the 4.8i

Can someone please tell me why a sunroof is called a moonroof in the US. I find it hard to believe that anyone really buys one of these so they can look at the moon.........
