Dropped off the X5 today

So I dropped off the X today at Fields BMW to get the recall and other stuff fixed.

-Recall for resv. cap

-New iDrive software?

-Rear wiper cover part fell off

-Backup Camera is broken

-Starting to have less airflow to the side vents (can someone remind me of the fix??)

They said they may need to keep it 'till Monday.

A service guy gladly drove me back to my house, and we talked about the new X5. He said that mainly, no issues with the X5. First time he ever heard about the backup camera was mine, today. The biggest issue was, he said, that on some X5's, in the first 300 mi, the engine would say "malfunction". It turns out the software they loaded onto those cars was from the 4.4i E53. It took 6 months to get the software in from Germany, and they had FOURTY X5s to fix, just at that dealer. I didn't ask about the '08, figured I'd get the same answer as the rest of you, nothing.

I will keep you guys updated
