I ordered my car on Sep 26th. I take delivery on Tuesday. That's 20 days end to end, delivered to NH. Not bad at all, I hope you get the same treatment!

Whoa, that's aweomse. I don't know if it's because I'm in Los Angeles but, although I haven't been giving an ETA, I've been told it would take a lot longer. But then again, I did opt for the auto tail gate, thus it's a November production.

I made deposit at the dealershop in July.
The dealer ordered the car in September 29.
Scheduled for production in Octorber 1.
The x5 delivered this weekend.
Overall, it's taken a little more than 2weeks since the car ordered.

wow, that's quick!!

I will have to wait till early Nov to "qualify" for the autotailgate option. (if it's available by then..)

anything earlier and it won't make the official release date.

has anyone ordered recently with this option???

First post, and shame on me for not doing more searching in the forum, but it fits here. What about the Night Vision option that the 535xi offers? That's enough to make my choice for X5 over the competition a slam dunk, I live in deer/elk/moose/fox country.

There is a button next to the "P(parking)" button. If you push the button, your car never move unless you step on gas pedal while waiting for signal or in the middle of traffic jam.
