I might just contact your source and see if they will ship them here. Thanks.
BMW Dealerships usually do not ship to other countries because of geografical territory policy. The only way to ship from the US would be to order a delivery within of US to a friend and when ask this friend to forward the package to you in Hong Kong.

If you go for it let me know - I might also order the rims&tyres so we can split the shipping charges.

Hi Traffic. I will try and let you know. The latest quotes I got locally are:

HKD25,000 (US$3200) for the wheels
HKD10600 (US$1360) for Yokohama's
HKD9800 (US$1260) for Michelin's

The guy said the Yokohama's "braking distance is 3 meters less"

I will check out the US sources but if the difference is not to much, then I might just get them here for less trouble etc.

If you're thinking of 20 - 22", you migh want to think about AC's, Harmann's or other such wheels since the price difference is similar. But you might just want the BMW look...

I am restricted to 20" because it's a baby mover and it should be humble since it's only a 3.0!

big difference!!
It all adds up, and not only in terms of 0-60, but also braking, ride quality, fuel economy, etc.

I've got a quote of 27800 HKD for type 214 from BMW Concessiories parts department. Do you have a discount there? As far as I know it's the only BMW dealer in town.

I am also considering these:

These are 22" and as Hartge says they should be quite smooth ( I also got babies to carry in the car), but the design is just great.

Priced at 6700 EUR (full set) + 350 EUR delivery to HK. Thinking...

By the way, Eryck, have you found a place to sell your 18" to? BMW is not doing trade in...
