My car is week 45 too....sadly it won't get to the UK until mid-Dec! I will actually take delivery first week of Jan as it makes a difference to the residuals weather it's registered in 2007 or 2008.

I'm picking my 3.0si at the Performance Center on Nov 6th. You have to have the dealer arrange a date with BMW. I took delivery of my 2004 there and it is worth it...a blast. Because anyone buying any BMW (not just X5 or Z4) can take delivery at the Greer plant, they only have so many slots per day for delivery. When I went last time there were two other deliveries. It seems that they can only have 3-5 per day.

Does it make a huge difference? Based on the fact its still a 57 plate which covers a 6 mont period? Mine is due early December now so don't fancy waiting an extra few weeks unless its going to have a big impact on resale in a few years time
