Ya I have to agree with you about the bells and whistles in the Odyssey Touring. Got my sister one and I still find myself playing around in it like a kid in a toy store when I am visiting them.

You will however not be disappointed with all the gizmos in the X5, only thing I will miss most from my 6 is the active cruise control...loved that! Sucks they dont offer it for the X5

Oh and note...you will NOT get 17 cup holders in the X5 like you do in the Odyssey

Ha ha.... Never had to use them all... One cup holder per passenger is just fine ! Otherwise it is a restroom-2-restroom trip all the way

Believe me, I've done my research ! I've been dwelling on this decision for a few months, researching pros and cons. But once I've made the decision, I wanted it (the X5) right away

My x5 3.0 is scheduled for production the last week of Dec and arriving in Jan. I figured that if BMW announces a March release of the diesel I would of had a chance to cancel deliver and could just reorder. I would be quite upset if I get this happens. Any more rumors on mid year releases?
