I think I would have to disagree with you. The sport button is not linked to the throttle response, the tiptronic is. The sport button firms up the suspension to decrease body roll amd firm up the electro-magnetic fluid in the absorbers. I have not noticed any more throttle response when activated. Can you provide some official BMW literature to validate your comment?

I have to agree with Denalio. According to the manual the sport button or Adaptive Drive, switches between two types of chasis and suspension tunning- Normal and Sport.
