Interior color change any thoughts??????????
I have on order Saphire Black 3.0sd Mpack perferated comfort seats for april delivery. Most extras as well. The only thing I am still debating is changing the interior from black to beige/sand. I do prefer the beige but worry about spoiling the seats with blue jeans. Would that drive me crazy. No kids to dirty anything else. PLEASE HELP. The beige does look regal with the black. Please help me decide. My current ride is a leaking space gray e70 3,0d with black interior. Coments please.:co nfused::ro fl:: rolleyes: good advise is urgently needed.
I believe that perforated leather is only available in beige or black Nevada (at least in the US.)

I was at the auto show in San Francisco yesterday, they had a sapphire black 08 X5 with a brown interior, it looked great. I asked the BMW guy what color the interior was, he said a new color called "portland brown", it was beautiful.......

BEIGE!!!
BMW offers a very efficient leather cleaner (foam) so you don't have to worry about.

Greetings to JoŽburg,

this will be a "lecker" ride and beige might be a very nice option,
but you will have to get the dark interieur (carpets, floormats etc.)
otherwise you will be frustraed about cleaning the car close to every day.

Have a nice one

Christian

Danke, It is a lekker auto. I am not to sure about the mixed colour option. So perhaps all beige and the roof lining is black anyway on the M option, I can put in black rubber mats.

I am thinking seriously beige.

Go for Beige if you like it!

I have a 15month old son now which stopped me going for that particular colour, my X3 has beige interior and

...and forget all the harsh leatehr cleaners..i found that a baby wipe cleans all the marks off the leather a treat! Even the blue dye from jeans wipes of easy! it even gets rid of the crease marks by putting a small amount of moisturiser back into dry leather! try it !

Beige and gray look awful when they wear with wrinkles.

Hey whoopy-do, when you say moisturiser, do you mean one designed for auto leather or should I raid my wife's handbag?

BTW, I have beige in my 320, and I have not found it hard to keep. I clean it every six weeks or so - but I dont have kids!

Also, I got black mats and I think they work with the beige and the muck on my feet.
