I'm undecided on the X6 from the shots I've seen - will have to wait and see it in person. Does anybody know if there are there any photos of it right next to an X5 for better comparison?

I just came back from SC where my wife and I participated in the M Driving Experience ("free" with the purchase of a new M5 or M6 ), and one of the instructors was talking about a 500hp X on the horizon, but wasn't sure it it will be X5 or just X6. Most likely X6 to distinguish it more from the X5 (as the "sportier" of the two), but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

How's that M5 treating you? I will probably be test driving one in the Spring, and I have not much experience with it. Lovely beast it is.

My E39 M5 is by far the best car I have ever owned. Sad part is that since I got the X5 4.8is I never drive it anymore. As much as it pains me to say I am actually considering selling her because it is such a waste to see it just sitting around now.

A very difficult decision.

We're lovin' the M5, and it goes like a rocket (0-60 in 4.1 seconds)! In fact, after many years of ticketless driving, I almost immediately picked up a substantial "performance award."

Perhaps the new X5 M will balance your time in each!

Beautiful. Is that Monaco Blue? Excellent choice.

If I had to buy one today... it would either be in Black Sapphire or Interlagos Blue, with the Silverstone Full Merino Leather and Madeira wood trim.
