The spare room is for the wheel lock.(anti thief) You can order them as extras.
They do not come with the car .

I was about to post my pic then like a good boy, I searched first... OMG! I'm missing the wrench! Can someone confirm if the 2008's is supposed to have that wrench or not!@!??

Logically, it would have been. But since this is my 4th BMW, I've found that the toolset varies from model TRIM to model TRIM. Since I bought the 4.8i, but without the sports package, I had to check with my dealer. Well, in fact, I was supposed to get it and they gave me one.

Hey not to resurrects. Dead post but I got a 2013 with 3rd row seat so no spare and I only have the screw driver and the tow loop am I supposed to have anything else and if so what are the items in the pictures above

I have read that the latest models with the 8 speed transmission don't have the orange park brake release handle anymore. I don't know that for sure, but that is what the orange handle was for. What does your owner's manual say?

There used to be a long thin z shaped hex key for the sunroof to manually close it.

And a spot for the key for the locking wheel bolts.

Manual doesn't say jack... That said it sounds like I'm not missing much. I just really like that extra storage compartment so it feels like cuz it's empty I'm missing stuff but really useful space where you can put odd stuff especially with kids around
