Re the rear view camera. I am going to do some experimenting in the next couple of nights. I believe that (a) poor "white lighting" from the reverse indicator lights and (b) too much glare from the brake light could be the culprint. I will try disabling obstacle markings to see if that improves. However, obstacle markings actually do work correctly, so I may end up using them instead if nothing else works...

At the moment, the poor rear view camera is the only "dislike"... The other minor inconvinience is poor selection choices for the steering wheel "custom buttons".... I expected to see more options available for them.

Just curious, what custom controls would you like to see in the steering wheel?

Tell me about it, and your baby isn't black. I don't remember the rear of my E53 being so dirty.

I just installed the window deflectors today.

It's already getting dark, I'll see if they come out OK and post when I get home. I don't think they restrict the view at all.

I tried, it's too dark, even with the flash and the light in the driveway. I'll do it tomorrow morning and post the pics tomorrow night.

Oh just wait, had the 6er out everyday since our *snow* and it was covered in salt, dirt, and general Dept. of Public Works funk. Finally had a chance to wash it today...but snow tomorrow and this weekend
