- yes break the car in as per the manual.
- as I understand it, DS drive is like taking overdrive mode off (into sports transmission mode) - sport mode button is suspension only as far as I know... use it for a stiffer ride and to also save on tires if you care - aero kit cost me $2300 painted & installed but it depends on your dealership... they will try to make their profit here. I couldn't find it for cheaper installed so I said ok. One other wanted $3600 and another wanted $2800. It is 8 hours of labor and completely worth it to me. Cheapest (and riskiest) option is to buy the kit for cheaper from Morristown BMW (NJ) and have a local body shop paint and install. - other tips: read the manual

> its a lease by the way,
If you are not planning to buy it when the lease is up, you will have no problems skipping the break-in. The break-in benefit is long life, e.g., after 100,000 miles. The next owner will pay for your lack of following break-in limits, not you. |

The most likely early hour result of not breaking it in properly is increased oil consumption. You will know soon enough. It's called karma for thinking that you were only harming the lease company or future owner by not following the manufacturer's guidelines.
As others have said, Read the Manual.
