hahaha... yeah right............ you ever been to India ?? they drive on the left side of the road, with RHD cars......

so.... if you picked up a car in the US, the steering wheel would be on the WRONG side...... :-)

I know. The Brits (and respective colonies), and the Japanese, drive on the wrong side of the road. I don't understand why you guys think its so correct. Wait till someone gets a Mini Clubman............

Thanks for all the responses. I am currently at a real boring birthday party and i am sitting down and trying to get drunk......

anyways, i really do hope my car arrives because my heart is set on the x5. I saw the q7 yesterday and it The interiors looked a little dated compared with the x5.

i have seen a couple of new mls on the road and they look half way decent. All the competitor cars around the same price.....my neighbour has a rr sport, though since there is no rr dealership in the country, you will need to import the car myself, which is a pain in the ass...

yes, there will be another 4/5 month wait if i choose to get another car, since all these cars are imported from their respective countries.

i know that shipping times and custom clearance is not in bmw india's hand, though i'm sure they can do something to expedite the process.....

i have a printout from the dealership with all the information pertaining to my car, and i remember reading that my car was made in week 39.....the car is still stuck in chennai in vdc....

will get u guys more information as and wheni get it.....thanks....gonnna get some lunch now..cya

there is only one dealership in delhi, and the other one is right outside delhi. so i guess they can get away with it, because there aren't any other options for a potential buyer
