I saw this in a movie before. A kid used jacks to lift his father's Porsche then put it in reverse. The odometer was going backwards in the movie. But then he actually bumped into the car which lead to it falling off the jacks which lead to the Porsche rolling off into a cliff.

That use to work many, many years ago when we had mechanical odometers, and prior to Federal Law that required tamper-proof odometers, e.g., cars before the late-1960s or thereabouts.

"Ferris Bueller's Dayoff" was the movie. Classic

^ Yes, and it was a Ferrari, not a Porsche, wasn't it?

Yes, it was a classic Ferrari convertible. If I remember correctly, the odometer did not roll back and in the process, he was so pissed that he kicked the car so it rolled backwards onto the cliff. That movie was so funny

Kaify's been good enough to test some things for us in the past (wasn't there something like engaging the parking brake while driving at speed?) so I thought he could test this for us too?

It would be quite a challenge to drive in reverse for 50-60km but I'm sure he's up to it...
