I was negotiating in January and ordered early February. I negotiated $4,250 off MSRP.

What do you think of the deal? I wasnt aware of the $2,500 dealer incentive......darn!

I'm really happy with the X5 (for the 4 days that I've owned it!), and I can't do anything about the price I paid now.....

I'm just looking for some feedback if it was a good deal (even withthe $2,500 incentive).

Thanks in advance.
You basically paid $1200 over invoice..not a bad deal. However, your car would not have qualified for the $2500 incentive as it was a "customer ordered" car

Yes, there were couple of restrictions for this $2500 to kick in. Must be in the dealer inventory as of mid-Feb. Must purchase by EOM March. Must be financed thru BMW Financial.

Crosdog, just enjoy the ride. The difference per month for the life of your car is probably not worth regreting.

Does anyone know if incentives will be carried over into March - or does BMW usually wait until the end of the month to evaluate sales numbers?

I doubt it.

Thanks refz and kimg9582.

I thought I had read in another post about rebate only applying to existing inventory, etc. Thanks for confirming.

I have 2 children and got rid of a 10 year old Saab that had only 44k miles on it. That car served me well, but it was time to get a larger vehicle.

The X5 is a great vehicle....solid feel, great electronics, powerful and fun to drive. After driving the X5, my wife now feels that her Lexus GS is underpowered! I'm going to have to wait until 2010 until I replace her car. By then, the 5 series will be in a model change over and the X5 will be paid off.

No regrets on getting the X5.
