New X5 with a question and some comments

I just picked up my new X5 earlier today (3.0si, Jet Black, Black Nevada, Tech/Premium/Sport Packages, Side Shades, USB Audio, Comfort Seats). Thanks for everybody's help in trying to understand the car's features before I took delivery.

I've put 75km so far on the 'ute. I'm lovin' it so far with one caveat: From the minute I drove it off the dealer's lot, there's been a noticeable 'squeak' from the front brakes when stopping at low speeds. Is this part of the normal break-in?

A few other comments:

1] They still haven't fixed the perspective view on the nav to include the street names. Frustrating.

2] The adjustable headrests on the '08 Comfort Seats aren't quite as comfortable as the '07's. . .but the seats are still really good.

3] Runflats are a touch noisy on the highway.

4] I already miss the auto-tailgate function (not available in Canada).

Again, overall I love the car so far and I'm uber-finicky. I'm curious about others' experiences with squeaky brakes at the outset.

Pics to follow soon.

squeaky brakes but it didn't happen my first 250 miles. Just started. Puzzled. I'll have to try spraying the rotors directly.

I'm going to call my salesman on Monday (tomorrow). He's been really receptive in the past. I'll let everybody know about the squealing brakes and the nav perspective as soon as I hear back.

Thanks for all the input.

I think the break noise is now normal. I had the same thing when I picked up the 650i...after about 500 miles or so, it stopped. I think it's just rotor and pad break in. I also chaulked it up to auto brake drying.......Phil
