Dealer found it this morning. It is fuse # 113 that controls the center console plug. I took it in without an appointment thinking they could just tell me which fuse it was, but they ended up pulling the X5 in the service bay. It took them about 15 minutes and I was starting to wonder if they knew what they were doing. When they came out they said there was a penny lodged in the socket! I'm glad the fuse is in the rear fuse block and not up under the dash or behind the glovebox somewhere. I never did find a fuse block up there. I'm also glad to know the new owners of the local BMW dealership (Annapolis BMW) are more service oriented than the previous owners. Saturday morning without an appointment to fix something at no charge that was probably my fault is a good way to start a relationship with the customer.
