I think thats all i can think of at the moment. Even still..i love the X..There's nothing like it when its all cleaned up and running good..Nothing like it, and thats probably why I put up with all this mess!

The most annoying thing is when my wife gets in my X5 and starts playing with the idrive. "What does this do, what does that do?" Blah Blah Blah

To that, add universal remotes, smart phones, computers, digital thermostats, digital cameras, digital clocks and watches, digital auto heating/cooling controls, home theater systems... at least your wife is willing to ask questions and will eventually be good at it. Some aren't!

Someday, the latest and greatest vehicles will have analogue controls as a selling feature. Look, just twist the dial to the right for more heat, turn the radio dial down for less volume, etc. I see all devices working like this some day, the next hot trend in technology. Yeah!

Or, how sucky is the "automatic" climate control system on E53s? Automatic except for turning the AC on when it was 100 degrees inside.

My automatic climate control worked great on my E53. Turned it on the day I picked up the vehicle, and hardly touched it again for four years. Hot, cold, didn't matter. I regularly used the rear defrost, occasionally I did use the fast front defrost feature, and I adjusted the temperature two or three times, but that was it.

Related - on our first distance drive [with the ventilated/comfort seat options] the wife spent the better part of ONE HOUR fiddling with her passenger seat settings. I couldn't resist commenting once she stopped adjusting, "honey dearest, this is a SUV, not a GD carnival ride!"

This way all those who complain there is a good reason to upgrade to the M-Sport or Aero kit. Kinda makes good marketing sense, to appeal to the largest market possible. This way for those on a tighter budget can still afford an X while those that have the extra $$ can pony up and upgrade.

Besides, the bumper provides great constrast for lighter exteriors with the aero kit.
