People really wag their finger at you in NY? Sheesh it's not like you live in the midwest or TX or something...

I live 10 minutes from Newport Beach, CA and they wag their finger at you if it's not German made....

To bump a dwindling thread...

My most annoying bug so far about my X is that when I turn on the rear defroster and am listening to FM radio, the radio gets all staticy and is basically not listenable. Unless this is really a problem with my truck individually, I can't believe ANY vehicle company's engineering department would let that slide.

But the window controls annoy me. Not only are they in the wrong place for a Bimmer(j/k), but I can't for the life of me role down the front windows on the first try...Almost every time, I first reach down towards the gear shifter, then switch hands and role down the rear windows, role them back up, then finally look down to find the front windows...I'm 6'2" and I sit with my knees nearly touching the dash and still, the front window switches seem almost out of reach.

Otherwise, I'm completely floored by this truck...
That's so funny, I have the same problem 70% of the time.

Well great. Thanks. Now I won't be able to sleep, thinking that someone out there has a newer one already.

Was at the car wash yesterday, which is right across the street from our BMW dealer. I was so pissed!!! The new little (entry level) X3 has badass factory LED angel eyes. I saw one pull out of the driveway, and I was floored.

WTF is/was BMW thinking? The 3 coupe, X3 and the 5 Series have factory LED Corona Rings. The X5 and the 7 Series DO NOT!! I am just so annoyed with BMWs logic. The X5 and 7 Series are 'flagship' models, yet do not receive the newest or best. Just so wrong!!!!

My only real complaints are the newly developed clicking/creaking/ticking my driver seat has developed. If I really change the seat around...all the way back, all the way forward, up, down...then the noise goes away for a while. But, it then comes back.

And that the USA spec X5s are not offered with UV/Thermal glass. We have UV glass in our '11 Range Rover and I had it in my ML63 and both Lexus suvs. It makes a HUGE, HUGE difference.
