I just got a deal at $500 over invoice ($180 training fee included in the invoice price) which with a $625 non-negotiable bank fee came to like $62,135.
Here are the details: 4.8i; Space gray; beige Heated Premium Sport 20's Tech SAT Rear Climate MSRP $66,170 "Selling" $62,135 which is $500 over invoiced cost (which included the $180 training fee) plus a $625 bank fee that gets added to the cap cost that they wouldn't move on which is why I negotiated harder for the $500 over invoice. I also had an issue with the $180 training fee but I caved on that as it was on the invoice. 36mos, 10K miles/year $885/mo (incl 6% sales tax) with $1400 out of pocket. 0.00225 money factor 61% residual. I think I did OK. I regret not keeping the comfort seats as part of my order. I'll live though. |

StanF18,
There are too many variables that make comparing lease payments impossible. If you run the math on the deals above, you'll get different monthly payments - probably as a result of taxes, fees, and positive/neg. equity being rolled into the deal. Plus sales tax treatment varies by state and can significantly affect the payment. If you're leasing through BMWFS (which you should, they heavily subsidize the residual values), the best advice is to get the vehicle price as low as possible and make sure they don't mark up the money factor. BMWFS lease terms are widely available on the internet. The rest is just math, so don't get too worked up about comparing payments with others. FWIW, my montly payment is $999 for 30mos/15Kmis on a $75K vehicle (sticker).
