Mine shows the same status. Almost 2 weeks now.
Did you call the 800-831-1117 number to track your vehicle? It should say that your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit. Since the X5 is built in SC, there shouldn't be a port of exit. Thus means that it's being transported to the VPC (Vehicle Preparation Center) where it's processed and released to the dealer. I did speak with a BMW rep from the 800 number. He has no definite answer but says it typically takes 3-4 weeks, but can be earlier depending on how busy the VPC is and where the dealer is located (East Coast much faster than West Coast). Your best bet at this point it to call your dealer and have your CA track it for you. Sadly, mine wasn't that helpful. Told me that its soon and that he didn't want to give me wrong info. Whatever, I figure it should be any day now. |

You have to set up a "My Account" on BMWUSA. There is a whole process for how to track your X5 once you've done it.

You'll need a production number or vin from the dealer.

I think the 800# has more up to date info than the web site. At least from past experience it did...

Here is my experience. I did all my ordering via email communications to the dealership. I can't stand dealerships, sales people, finance people and the whole stupid sales game with goes with ANY dealerhsip. The only drawback to this is the lack of customer experience. My contact seems to be on vacation quite a bit so I just popped into the dealership unnanounced and spoke to another salesperson. They looked my order up and gave me an arrival date. They also answered a few questions for me and were actually quite helpful considering I wasn't a potential car sale to them.
