yeah, thus far my nearly fully loaded 2007 4.8 has only had a rear DVD issue and the parking camera go out.. mechanically and otherwise it's been perfect, occasional strange key behavior not withstanding.

So far my e70 is the most trouble free car I've ever owned, no issues at all.

cmyX6go will become famous soon enough
My girl is still a baby, 7 months and 7000 miles but no major issues. I enjoy driving her more and more each day.

Amazing car, owned it for 10 months and never had any major issues or had to take it to the dealership for anything (apart from a 1st oil change)! Each time I drive it I still get that good ‘feeling’

Am loving it!

5000 miles on a 2008 4.8 and no issues. Even the runflats which I dispised when I purchased it saved me in a tough situation. If my past experience with two E 53's continues with the 70 couldn't be more happy.
I am sorry for you that have troubles but seems to be just a few but don't understand why the continued posting about the same problems. Just fixem or trade it or don't continually post about them. We are all grown people and can understand postings. We know you have a problem!! For a new board member it makes it seem like we all have problems and we don't.

Us too - 13 months here. Never had to go in for anything except the planned CD install into the glove box.

Same here. I've had my 2008 X5 for about 6 months and 12,000 miles and absolutely no problems whatsoever. Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.

I think everyone needs to realize that every make will have a few problems with a few of their cars, but most have little or no problems.

Furthermore, I think some people seem to make problems with their cars. I have been driving for 25 years and have not had any major problems with any of my nine cars I've had in that time period.

Add me to this list

Purchased in November of '07 new - it is a part time vehicle and not used a lot, we currently have about 3K on the clock.

I had an issue the day I picked it up, but have not had a problem since I drove it off the lot, hopefully it will stay that way!

That said, I have no intention what-so-ever of owning this vehicle out of warranty!

Cheers,
KEF
