Hardwiring a V1...

I have searched around here a bit and couldn't seem to find the switched 12V power in the overhead pannel. (by the sunroof controls)....I will double check obviously with a voltmeter, but does anybody know the color of the wire? I have an e70 3.0si

can anybody help me out?

Thanks...

I think it was a green/white wire on the second set of plugs

Do a search on t-tap + KEF as well, the blue t-tap that comes with the V1 is not the correct tap for the green / white wire as well.

If you want to ensure a positive connection down the road, you should switch over to the maroon tap 951 tap.

Cheers,
KEF

haha funny you said that....it took me an extra like half hour of playing around with the tap to figure out that its not the right one....so yea I got that maroon one from radioshack and no problems....I also wrapped up all the wires in felt so they woudln't rattle... works great!
