I'd say if the Navteq disk has TMC codes then you are fine, providing the BMW Nav will support native OEM Navteq disks as opposed to BMW branded ones. I'm not sure what the Nav in an E70 supports regarding non BMW branded disks although the system 'underneath' is reportedly Navteq. Best to ask NavTeq direct. |

No, you won't lose anything. The map updates from NavTeq are identical to what you get if you purchase from BMW. They even have the same BMW part number on them.
