Coming from an E53, I traded my 08 GS 350 for 08 X5 and one of my dislikes for the GS was the amount of silver on the body that did not blend with the overall look of the car.

Albeit - It could work if you painted the plastic trim around the entire body the same color of your car then slapped on a carbon fiber or silver aero kit...

I take it back. Looks good ... it continues to grow on me.... much like the new shape of the X5

Point well made but the E70 looks better so not even close to a comparison... of course

You may opt to paint it two colors like another E70 owner did on this forum. There's not that much silver to blend on the E70 in comparison to the Mercedes SUV plus the E70 aero kit would cover the entire front and rear bumper so it may/may not work.
