Painting Y spokes Ferric Gray?

I need to get some opinions on painting my 214 Y-Spoke wheels Ferric Gray (Same color as 21" 215'S)
I think they would look great in my black saphire e70.
What do you guys think, Thanks...

That might come out really nice! If you were to pull the trigger, please post some pics. I too have a Black Sapphire 4.8 with Y spoke wheels and would love to see how it would look like.

Good luck!

Did you ever do this?? I am in the process of trying to find a good local shop to do my wheels, badges, grill, mesh, and tailpipes in the Ferric Gray finish.

Not yet, I need a few more scratches in my wheels in order to pull the trigger and paint them. I found these pics. Might help you decide.

Yes, Thank you. I've decided that I need to get this done to my 214's immediately. Great looking wheels. However, I think the green X5 below has dirty wheels. But the Vermillion Red is definitely ferric gray.

Anyone else had this done?

build up enough brake dust and there is no need to paint them that color IMO.

IMO the silver wheels complements your BSM's silver trim (RB's,grill etc). I like contrast vs the monotone look. I have a BSM too had my wheels are going on later today. I thought long and hard whether to do the FG's vs silver. I'll post my pic later on... Your choice though.

Nice find Stevev. Once proving, its not just the wheels but it has to blend in well with the whole car. I'll be doing those eyelids they look badass
