So I get the car back from the stealer after what would be my absolute last trip to any BMW stealer (found a competent indy)...and found several issues that are a result of negligence. The most troubling, i discovered while on the way home from out of state, with my family in the car. I stopped to fill-up on gas, check tires, fluids etc...after opening the hood, the engine cover was loose and screws sticking out. The BMW tech had looked at the valley pan and water pump for leaks and either forgot to screw back in or did a terrible job.
Can a loose engine cover pose any danger while driving?
