? for y5choi.
I do have comfort access on my X5 and sometimes one of door (rear right passenger) malfunctions then would fucntion the next time I try it on another day.
Maybe its irratic in this cold weather.
I also encountered my adaptive headlight to malfunction when I started one cold day and it functioned the next time I started the car.

Just wondering if BMW cant take this Canadian weather
No, it just reboots the idrive. You wont loose any settings. I've found i-drive fails to start correctly on my car. A reboot normally sorts things out.

I had this issue yesterday. My clock reset to "--:--" but the date did not reset. Date did not advance further 24 hour later.

It was upper 80's outside and I did not have any unusual equipment turned on or hooked up to the vehicle.

Weird...

I found out with the battery system (as ours is running down from short trips) that the BMW's when in a low battery charge state will start to progressively shut down systems to preserve crank power. Once driving, and alternator is charging systems come back up.

First to go is the clock, and then it can be the active steering, SOS or idrive....all sorts of things....

Just a thought...

Cheers
