Its been cold and out for a while. I am pretty sure I am the only one to drive it (over a period of about 2 mo). No lights ever came on during my test drives. I will press on checking the battery.

Hopefully it will be resolved quickly.

Dropped it off this morning. They were very helpful and said they would get it straightened out. Told him about the battery concern.

Was given a X5 35d to drive. Holy &*!t. This thing has a lot of torque. Seems to pull like a train with no let up. Still, can't wait to get mine back.

Thanks for all the input.

heh... don't forget to fill her back up with the right fuel afterward... the fillup nozzles are different right?

They were pretty nice about it, I won't have to refuel. So far, have been pleased with responsiveness of the dealership. Fingers crossed it gets resolved today.

Call from dealer. Battery fine. Bad seat control module. Setting off airbag. Also, foglight motor out. Want to keep it until can replace parts, because of airbag warning. Parts coming, ready next Tuesday.

Seat control module went off when picked up car, but just reset. Hopefully, this is cause/end of problems.

At least is not battery.

Ok thank goodness for that.

Yeah, but the battery advice was as good as gospel.

Don't get me wrong, I was hoping it was just the battery. Bad seat module doesn't sound a bad. I am trying to stay calm. Have never had a car in for problems this fast. I still have my 4.8is to drive. I remember having to take her in for an oil leak in the first few weeks, turned out the seal around the pan had to be replaced (from what I remember) and they kept it a few days.

So with all my cars, only the BMW's go in early, but this is the record. Odd, how not one light went off on my test drives. OH well, stay positive, and can't wait to get it back!

I have problems with the adaptive healights on my X6.

The car has been to the dealer 3 times, and they are still unable to fix it.

They have just set the system NOT to show the fault for the moment, while BMW supposedly work on finding a solution, although this has been going on since before Xmas !!!
